    Mr. Ming Yam Wong, SBS, BBS, JP   王明鑫太平紳士

    Mr. Wong Ming-yam, Founding Director of InnoLink Investments Limited, is passionate about innovation and technology development. He serves as Director or Non-executive Director of a number of technology companies. Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice-President of Royal Philips Electronics. He has actively served society through membership of several government boards and committees for more than 35 years. He has been a member of the Assessment Panel of Small Entrepreneur Research Assistance Program of the Innovation and Technology Commission, HKSAR; a Member and Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council; Director of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation; Chairman of the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited; Chairman of the CreateSmart Initiative Vetting Committee of Create Hong Kong and an Ex-officio Member of the Steering Committee on Innovation and Technology and the Committee on Innovation, Technology and Re-industrialization of the HKSAR.

     

    Among his many other public roles, he is Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association, Hong Kong Critical Components Manufacturers Association, and Semiconductor Nanotechnology Alliance; a Member of Steering Committee on Research Themes and Topics of the Research Grants Council of HKSAR; a Member of the Cyberport Advisory Panel; Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (Pearl River Chapter Cradle Program); and Chairman of the Departmental Advisory Committee, Department of Electrical Engineering, City University.

     

    Mr Wong was appointed Justice of the Peace in 1999 and was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2012 and Silver Bauhinia Star in 2018 by the HKSAR Government in recognition of his distinguished public service and his long-term and exemplary contributions to promoting innovation and technology development in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong also awarded the Hong Kong Electronics Industry Outstanding Achievement Award in 2018 by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, And conferred the title of Honorary Fellow of the University in 2021 by the City University of  Hong Kong.

    Ir Victor Ng, MH   吳國豪先生

    Mr. Ng graduated from the University of Hong Kong with Electrical Engineering degree in 1976.  He founded Micom Tech Limited in 1981 and in currently the Managing Director.  He is both an entrepreneur and a professional engineer, a fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE).  Mr Ng is also very active on public service.  Currently he is serving as:

    Mr Mohamed Din Butt, MH   畢堅文先生

    Mr. Mohamed Butt has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) since December 2017, leading HKPC to leverage innovations and advanced technologies to support local enterprises to enhance their productivity and competitiveness.

     

    Mr. Butt had assumed leadership roles in a number of multinationals, accumulating more than 30 years of executive experience, excellent management skills, and the ability to drive service excellence and innovations among the team continuously. Mr. Butt is deeply knowledgeable in infrastructure, manufacturing, and consumer market development, backed by his profound strategic mindset and rich business insights. Mr. Butt strives to promote the development of innovation and technology (I&T) in Hong Kong to assist local enterprises in turning novel research and development ideas into innovative products and enrich the I&T talent pool of the city.

     

    Mr. Butt previously worked for General Electric (GE) for over two decades, where he held various senior management positions including President & CEO of GE’s Transportation Business in the Asia Pacific region, and was tasked with providing strategic leadership for expansion of business footprints, spearheading large transformational projects, in collaboration with private and public sectors in the Asia Pacific region. Before such role, he also served as President & CEO of GE Lighting Asia and GE Security Asia respectively.

     

    Mr. Butt graduated from Winona State University, Minnesota, US, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also received his Master in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
