    Dr. Jacqueline Lui is a patent agent registered to practice before the US patent office. Jackie has been practicing in the patent field for 20 years and founded Eagle IP in 2005 to become a top-ranked patent specialist IP firm in Hong Kong. In 2017, Jackie and a prestigious New York IP firm launched global brand Chau Eagle Global IP with offices in New York, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Singapore. Jackie has experience in the areas of life science, medical devices, material science, internet, manufacturing, and engineering. She specializes in technology-related IP, including strategic planning, patent drafting and prosecution, portfolio management, technology transfer, due diligence and patent enforcement worldwide. Before founding Eagle IP, Jackie headed the patent team of two large firms.

    From 2015 to 2017, Jackie was recognized as one of the World’s Leading Patent Firms & Individuals by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM). She is also the President of The Hong Kong Institute of Patent Practitioners (HIPP). Jackie has research experience in bioelectronics, biochemical engineering, molecular and cell biology and holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a B.Sc. (Bronze Tablet Scholar) from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and a Lecturer of Analytical Biochemistry at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore for many years before starting her patent profession.
