HKETA Youth Sub-com co-operated with The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen (深圳清華大學研究院) to organize one-day technical visit to Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) for University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, UESTC (成都電子科技大學) on 23^rd July 2015.   In this event, around 100 people including young mainlanders, teachers, and HKU students participated to understand the operation of HKSTP and visit four innovative technology & development companies : Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI), WeSoft, Sengital and Red Solider inside the Science Park. 

Through the visit and industry sharing, the attendants realized how HKSTP to provide a innovation and technology ecosystem to the tech companies, incubation programme for startups, and nurture technology talents in Hong Kong.  The companies also shared their entrepreneur process, product/service development and success story with the students.  

At the end of the event, our Youth Chairman, Derek Lee concluded the company visit with students and shared them for the technology insight and business strength of startups in Hong Kong and how to complement with China for manufacturing industry.
