Mr Alvin Lee, Chairman of ICT Sub-com
Mr. Alvin Lee is the CEO of Armitage Technologies. With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, he is responsible for overseeing the business and its overall operations in the Group’s companies and affiliates in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Taiwan managing its 200+ staff and setting strategies for the market with the goal of growing the business. Leading Armitage since 2011, Mr. Lee headed the company and led it through major transformation. Under his leadership, Armitage Technologies has attained ISO 27001:901 and CMMI Level 3. The company has also won the prestigious Quality Award by the Hong Kong Management Association in 2016 and Economic Digest’s Best SME Award in 2017. Mr. Lee is also the Honorary Treasurer of the Information and Software Industry Association. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from San Jose State University in the United States.
Mr Daniel Chun, Vice Chairman of ICT Sub-com
Daniel Chun is currently the General Manager and EVP – Market Innovations for Remotec Technology Limited – a pre-IPO company focused in smart controls, home automation and the emerging opportunities in the Internet of Things (IoT) market. Before this appointment, Daniel had served in leadership in the third sector as the CEO for Chatteris Educational Foundation (2014-5) and Executive Director for Kids4Kids (2012-2014). Daniel is a co-founder of a ICT startup company (Art Group Limited) and received incubation from Hong Kong Cyberport which has revolutionized the way how charities handle fundraising at gala dinners and events - by enhancing patrons participation and engagement through the use of OpenHeart technologies. In 2014 alone, OpenHeart has supported over 25 charities and helped raised over HK$50M for these charities and causes. Daniel started off his career as a programmer at Hutchsion Mobile Data in 1990 and had launched CompuServe HK. Since Hutchison, Daniel had been a business development professional in telecom and Internet businesses in Asia Pacific (Taiwan Mobile, Iridium, Wharf T&T). During the dotcom era, he became a resident-entrepreneur at a venture capital fund in Europe based in Malta. He later immigrated to Canada after 9/11 where he started up his own brick and mortar toy store. He sold the toy business in 2008 and joined a Canadian toy manufacturer and became involved in invention, licensing and product innovations.
Daniel is a Blue Ocean Strategy trainer and also a part-time lecturer at City University and HKUSPACE in IT and Corporate Communications. Daniel has invented a few product concepts and currently own a few patent pending for these inventions. In the past four years, Daniel served as the Vice President (Elect) for The Entrepreneurs’ Network (TEN) association in Hong Kong that promotes entrepreneurship. Daniel received a degree in Master of Research focused in E-research and Technology-Enhanced Learning from Lancaster University, a MBA (Distinction) from Sunderland University, a Master in IT from Charles Sturt University and a computer science degree from Deakin University.

Mr George Kui, ICT Sub-com member
George Kui, Co-founder and Managing Director of Ackuis Technlogy Limited, drives vision and mission through years of leadership in the company. Responsible for multiple roles, he leads his team in business consulting, sales, marketing and networking, to grow the company and build a stronger alliance with partners. George has 20 years experience in industrial automation, from a manufacturing engineer responsible for R&D and manufacturing, to sales & marketing and after-sales. In 2012, George founded Ackuis Technology Limited, specializing in industrial equipment to gather and process data, and perform controlled actions in the production assemblies. In 2015, he led the company in achieving the Hong Kong ICT Award and Hong Kong Awards For Industries. George holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Auckland. He currently resides in Hong Kong with his wife and two sons.
Mr Manuel Kwong, ICT Sub-com member
Mr. Manuel Kwong has more than 30 years of R&D experiences in embedded system and electronics product. After graduated from the University of Hong Kong with BSc. Eng. (EE) in 1986, he started his career with a telecom system company on R&D project and product development for telephone system. Then he joined Micom Tech Limited and have been working with the company until now. In the current capacity of Executive Director of Micom Tech, Mr. Kwong is leading the R&D and product development team to provide the consultancy and development service for embedded system product, including game/toy, health care, industrial product, IoT and Smart Speaker solution, with Apps and cloud development and support. Mr. Kwong joined HKETA as executive member from 2018.
Ms Novam Ng, ICT Sub-com member
Novam Ng, Marketing Director at IngDan Technology - a subsidiary of a Hong Kong Listed Company, Cogobuy Group (0400.HK), an e-commerce platform for corporate procurement of electronic components in China. IngDan, an IoT and AI innovation platform, headquarter at Shenzhen, supporting entrepreneurs around the world to connect with the rich manufacturing resources in China. Over 10 years in the marketing agency field, as a team leader, major marketing campaigns for many including Government and Banks was successfully planned and implemented. Novam was appointed as the Marketing Director of IngDan in 2015, lead and manage the PR & Marketing communications, and 400 million HKD IngDan IoT Fund. She was also one of the key representative for the Hong Kong branch to contribute towards the development of IoT ecosystem and supporting numbers of IoT and AI Projects as well as entrepreneur community in different industry.
Mr Stapler Li, ICT Sub-com member
Mr. Li is one of the founders of Megalogic Technology Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 8242). He was an Executive Director of the Company during the period from 15 June 2011 to 30 April 2015. He was the chief executive officer and compliance officer of the Company until 30 April 2015. He has been a director of a subsidiary of the company, MiniLogic Device Corporation Limited (“MiniLogic”), since September 2004. MiniLogic is an IC design company located in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. He is responsible for daily operations, research and development activities, procurement and quality control of MiniLogic. He has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor field.

Kevin Lau has twenty years of experience across APAC region with specialization in the Telecom, Unified Communication and Voice infrastructure industries. He is in addition, well-versed in Contact Center technologies and had been the trusted advisor for banks and insurance companies. Kevin is currently focused on promoting Communication Platform as a Service solutions that are secure, reliable and scalable to address business requirements.

Jack Wong is the founder of Zetakey Solutions Limited, which offers embedded browser software and Universal IoT gateway solutions to industrial and enterprise market. Jack has over 20 years of experience in mobile and embedded software. After his graduating with Electronic Engineering degree from City University of Hong Kong in 1995, he worked for both local and international companies including HKPC, Zi Corp, Openware, Esmertec. He was responsible for business development, project management and technical pre-sales of client software such as mobile browser, video streaming, mobile messaging, Java VM, predictive input etc. He is passionate about technologies, including AI, IoT, open source, web technologies and also excited about contribute to technology community in Hong Kong.
